JAZZ BAND at THE VENUE (4/29/25)
Our PNHS Jazz Band will be performing at the Venue in Aurora, IL on April 29th, 2025. The Venue is a very cool place to see music and is nestled in downtown Aurora at 21 S. Broadway.
We will be performing with Plainfield South and the Pete Ellman Big Band. The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
Plainfield North High School 6:30-7:00 PM
Plainfield South High School 7:00-7:30 PM
Pete Ellman Big Band 7:30- 9:00 PM
You may use the following link to order tickets- http://themusicvenue.org/. This will be our first time doing this performance with 2 high school groups, so I would suggest pre-ordering tickets to ensure that you have good seats. The venue sells beverages and snacks. As a result, they will not allow any carry-in beverages. You may bring in food from outside, and Jimmy Johns will even deliver. However, they will not allow you to bring in any beverages with your meal.

JUST DESSERTS 5/1/25
Join us on Thursday, May 1st, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for a special evening featuring performances by our small student groups and our Jazz Ensemble!
Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere with delicious desserts available for purchase and exciting raffle items. Feel free to come and go anytime during the event — stay for a little or enjoy the whole evening!
We can’t wait to see you there for a night of great music, sweet treats, and fun!

CONCERT/SYMPHONIC BAND 2nd SEMESTER REHEARSALS
Concert and Symphonic Bands will have combined rehearsals leading up to concerts. The rehearsals will be on these Thursdays from 2:20-3:20pm: May 1st. Please plan ahead!
COLORGUARD AND PERCUSSION WORKSHOPS
They have begun. Change of time to percussion this week, only. They will meet from 6-8pm on Monday.
SPRING FINALE BAND CONCERT 5/6/25
Call time for the concert is 5:45pm. Doors open for audience at 6:40pm
CONCERT WEAR: Concert attire will be used for all concert performances. Students are responsible for supplying their concert attire:
- ALL Black Dress Pants/Slacks (No skirts, dresses, leggings or jeans), Black Dress Belt
- ALL Black Dress Top (Long sleeve button up dress shirt with collar or long sleeve blouse), Solid black long tie is optional
- ALL Black Dress Shoes – Male and Female Styles vary (No flip flops or sandals), Marching Band shoes are okay to wear-Shoes must be flats, no high heels or platforms
- ALL Black Dress Socks (Calf High), Female style shoes may not require socks
